Labex DAMAS
La création du laboratoire d'excellence 'DAMAS' (Design des Alliages Métalliques pour Allègement des Structures) a été approuvée dans la campagne 2012 du 'Grand Emprunt' de l'État Français. Le labex DAMAS est constitué des métallurgists des laboratoires LEM3 (Metz) et IJL (Institut Jean Lamour, Nancy).
Un soutien financier de 7.5 MEUR est accordé pour 10 ans. Le porteur du labex DAMAS est Laszlo Toth, directeur actuel du LEM3.

The Laboratory of Excellence 'DAMAS' ( Design of Alloy Metals for Lightweight Structures) is approved within the 'Big Loan' action of the French Goverment in the 2012 Campagne. The metallurgists of the laboratories LEM3 (Metz) and IJL (Jean Lamour Institute, Nancy) constitute the Labex DAMAS.
A financial support of 7.5 MEUR is accorded for 10 years. The head of the DAMAS is Laszlo Toth, actual director of the LEM3.
